Working with Collaborative Consulting is likely different from other consulting experiences you may have had, and for the right situations and projects, we believe it is better. Collaborative Consulting is a pragmatic and results-oriented firm. While we understand high level markets and trends, we thrive in the specifics of your operational strategy and tactics, and prefer not to spend work cycles exploring theoretical or academic business strategy that we can’t implement. And while we unabashedly and eagerly roll up our sleeves and get into the nitty gritty of technology deployment, our strength is in providing expert technology advice and planning services, not benching legions of low-cost software engineers.

We execute consulting engagements with enterprise-class clients at the critical juncture between business and technology. Focused project sizes and scope: We excel at projects that require small focused teams of consultants and client participants, typically with 2-10 consultant practitioners working on a specific business or IT problem with clear objectives and deliverables.

Our senior executives and leaders are on the project day to day, and we never staff a project solely with junior practitioners. Our methodology and approach: We bring a comprehensive methodology and approach to our consulting engagements that allow us to be confident in our work process, be rigorous in our approach, and speed “time-to-value” in all our projects. While we believe each project is unique and custom, our methodology enables us to systematically leverage our experience, knowledge and expertise procedurally for the benefit of our clients.

Implementing the pilot and phase I: We bring skilled technology practitioners and engineers to each engagement. Developing the “paper” deliverables is a strong suit of ours, including the business strategy, business architecture, technology blueprints, architecture designs, and transformation roadmaps. We also implement, and we believe that being responsible and knowledgeable about how the technology is deployed validates and bolsters our planning offerings. We typically work with clients through the implementation of the pilot or “phase I” deployment of the technology in working production environments.

Managing large-scale implementation and transformation: Our program and project management service offerings enable us to partner with our clients to oversee and optimize the success of large-scale technology implementations and business transformation. As appropriate, we can staff large projects, work with your in-house resources, partner with other technology shops, and engage low-cost offshore resources.

Accurate estimates: We believe in providing accurate, transparent budget and fee estimates for our projects. We believe this is a crucial benefit to our clients who need accurate numbers to fulfill their budgets and who despise surprises and change orders that could have been avoided. We never short-sell to get in the door, and what you see is what you get.
