William C. Robichaud, Sr.
Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer
As founder, president and chief executive officer, Bill is charged with growing the company and establishing it as a premier provider of business and technology services for leading organizations in New England and beyond. In just seventeen years, he has seen the organization he founded grow from a single employee—himself—to a powerhouse with over 400 employees. Along the way, he has directed profitable expansion into strategic new markets. Bill has more than 20 years of information systems experience, including substantial consulting, recruiting, sales and management expertise. In 1984, Bill began his consulting career at Computer Assistance, which was later acquired by Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). He ascended quickly, from Programmer/Analyst to Project Manager. Within eight years, he became a Branch Manager. In 1992, Bill joined Catalyst Consulting, where he eventually became Vice President of Sales. In 1996, Bill became Managing Partner of Business Technologies (now part of Exodus Communications); his responsibilities in that role included sales and staffing for the entire firm. In addition, Bill has contributed to and been featured in several business and industry publications, and authored a chapter of Inside the Minds: CEO Leadership Strategies, from Aspatore Books.
Vice President of Client Delivery Services
As Vice President of Client Delivery Services at Collaborative, Bill leads a department of over 350 to ensure optimal solution delivery to clients, as well as optimal career growth to his staff. Bill has extensive experience designing and developing systems and services in distributed architectures. Prior, Bill has worked for several multi-billion dollar international firms in roles ranging from enterprise architecture strategy to enterprise system integration to process and information management. Bill has a passion for working with people and technology to bring the best possible solutions to our clients. Bill graduated from Bentley College with degrees in Finance and Computer Information Systems.
Chief Financial Officer
As Senior Vice President and Collaborative's Chief Financial Officer, Joe brings over 25 years of financial and operating management experience in the technology industry. He is highly accomplished in M&A activities and formulating business strategies that optimize operating performance and improve cash flow. Joe has extensive experience in the Life Sciences, Financial Services, High-Tech, Consumer/Retail, Energy, and Manufacturing industries. Prior to joining Collaborative, Joe held senior financial management positions at Parexel International and CSC, where he was also a partner in the IT Consulting business. Joe is a CPA in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Vice President of Technology Services
Chris is the Vice President of Collaborative's consulting services. He guides the company's service development and innovation activities focusing on technology, life sciences and financial services. As a practitioner, Chris has over 18 years consulting in the Information Management discipline. He is an expert in applying analytic, data integration and data warehouse techniques to solve business problems. Prior to joining Collaborative Chris was a senior member of Computer Sciences Corporation's National Consulting practice.
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
As Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Dori brings over 15 years of experience developing and managing client relationships in the technology industry. Dori drives the sales and marketing strategy, aligning the two teams seamlessly, while focusing on developing core messaging and go-to-market strategies for Collaborative's services. Prior to Collaborative, Dori was the Vice President of Global Products at Lionbridge Technology where she managed the sales, marketing, operation and technology for the machine translation product division.
Director of Operations
As Director of Operations at Collaborative, Chris brings over ten years of experience in operations, legal and compliance, and financial analysis. Chris formulates financial operation strategies that optimize operating performance and profitability, and has a deep understanding of direct and indirect costs. Chris' demonstrated leadership and management skills, as well as his ability to make shrewd strategic business decisions to avert risk, has helped propel him into a critical role in the organization. Chris graduated from Wesleyan University with a degree in Economics.
Pamela Wall Oakes
Vice President of Professional Staffing
Pamela is the Vice President of Professional Staffing at Collaborative and leads the recruiting department. She is a results-driven professional with extensive recruiting expertise specializing in the technology consulting field. She has been essential to the growth of the company by targeting and obtaining the top talent in the industry. In addition to managing the team, Pamela has developed and executed strategies to find the most qualified candidates and outstanding individuals in each of Collaborative's geographic markets. She works closely with other departments to deliver clients' needs and exceed expectations. Prior to joining Collaborative, Pam was a Professional Development Manager and Recruiting Manager at CSC and holds a degree from Boston College.
Chief Strategy Officer
John is the Chief Strategy Officer with Collaborative and leads the Technology Services Practice and the Domestic Solution Center (CDSC). He has almost three decades of experience in the IT and IT consulting industries. His primary charter within the company is to drive service innovation, focusing on the evolving needs of clients and the IT marketplace. He has been largely responsible for the vision, launch and growth of the company's newest and fastest growing business unit- the CDSC. This group, with locations in less populous US markets, delivers IT services with industry leading skill and globally competitive pricing. John is widely considered a pioneer and expert in the area of domestic or rural sourcing which is a quickly expanding marketplace. John also has an extensive background in systems integration and data management. Prior to joining Collaborative, he held senior management positions at CSC and NerveWire (acquired by Wipro).
Head of Financial Services Practice
Joe Abruzese is the Head of the Financial Services Practice at Collaborative Consulting. He joined Collaborative with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, specializing in asset management. His primary focus with Collaborative is to drive growth and to ensure that the firm continues to deliver high-quality services to its financial services clients. Joe's background includes establishing and directing thought leadership teams to shape and deliver key initiatives for investment operations, as well as providing organizations with strategic vision and solutions that result in immediate and long-term improvements. Before his work at Collaborative Consulting, Joe was Vice President of Investment Operations for Wells Capital Management, as well as Vice President of Business Solutions and Program Management at Evergreen Investments. Additionally, he was a Senior Manager at Accenture for nearly 12 years and was responsible for the sales and delivery of strategic and tactical projects for clients in the areas of asset management, trade processing/STP, and custody.
Head of Life Sciences Practice
As the Head of the Life Sciences Practice, Bill leads the development and creation of Collaborative's Practice Offerings. Working with the group's senior members, the team has created a suite of offerings addressing both business and IT industry challenges and needs, from strategy to implementation and support. They encompass business process transformation, technology deployments, as well as regulatory and compliance for biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device and consumer markets. Prior to Collaborative has managed Life Science consulting firms such as Taratec Development (now Cap Gemini) as President and COO, RCM (Group SVP IT Division), DMR , and Pharma Bio-Serv. Bill has a broad range of experience in the industry both domestically and internationally (Canada, Europe, Eastern Europe, South America, and Asia). Bill has advised and supported numerous clients on Manufacturing expansion, Clinical Optimization, Computer Validation Strategy, including the development of risk-based approach, Part 11 and Annex 11, Pre-Approval Inspection (PAI) readiness, and business technology transformation.
Senior Vice President of Business Development
As Senior Vice President of Business Development, Laura brings over 20 years of experience developing and managing client relationships. Laura heads up Collaborative's public sector practice and is responsible for driving the overall public sector strategy for the firm as well as growing Collaborative's footprint and reputation within the New England market. Prior to Collaborative, Laura was a managing member of Computer Sciences Corporation's Strategic Industries practice.
